Hufflepuff '99 at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) redemption_mods could really use some GIRLS. As incentive, you can have Daniel HIT ON THEM and CREEP ON THEM and DEAN HAVE A CRUSH ON THEM and CHARIS HATE THEM. Her Hufflepuff fetish clearly only extends to the male of the species. But for real, c'mon. I'll throw out some ideas?
1. Muggleborn from Belfast who went through the troubles AND the death eaters. That is FML woe for those of you who enjoy that sort of thing. Or halfblood. I don't know either/or. Make it work. If you want help with this, I can help out. I think it'd be a really interesting character to explore. I don't think there is any Northern Irish in the game and let me say I LOVE NORTHERN IRISH ACCENTS, PRETTIEST IN THE KINGDOM.
2. Halfblood who enjoys using their magic as parlour tricks right now for extra cash. Silly muggles let me make a quick buck off you - speaking of I had a character whose dad used his magic to be a street performer. Man, I loved it.
3. I'm not sure we have anyone from Cornwall, either. It's remote, reclusive, and they have small chickens for consumption. Cornwall is, however, the birth place of King Arthur, so someone who is a compulsive liar and says they're related to him or Merlin? Funny. Because I am a sick individual.
4. What about a girl who went on the lam? Justin and Dean did it. I think a girl becoming a vigilante would have been cool. Everyone else was in Azkaban.
5. For the twins, they could be identical and take different subjects and swap each others identities when they get bored? Like Portia is in Runes, Regan is in Astronomy, swap a class every so often to learn something new?
6. Someone obsessed with germs. OCD tendencies are fun. Gives you lots of fodder for entries that people will definitely comment on.
7. FOREIGN BACKGROUND? Granted this is before the EXPLOSION OF THE EU, but lots of Poles and Ukrainians came in during the great war, so a grandfather who fled Grindelwald? However, I'd recommend not wanting to have them flee to another country immediately because Charis and Grayson have that schtick on lockdown with Denmark and France, respectively. But someone who is foreign would be brilliant. England is a multicultural place of multicultural multiculturalness. Likewise a westernized Indian would be cool. Western name, western style of dress, would be interested with Padma being v. Indian, I reckon. Also why are the only African-Brits in GRYFFINDOR. FOR REAL. SOME COLOUR UP IN HURR? Also I LOL all the Asians in Ravenclaw, that wasn't a stereotype JKR.

I have no idea if any of these work, but just throwing names out there. Also a Lisa Backwell would make my heart sing, especially if she was a pureblood and Welsh. I enjoy icon babies.
suggested parent occupations wizard morticians (MY FAVOURITE - srsly i pioneered this and it is a BLAST), herbologists, young wizard tutors (like their mother taught Draco or something), Hogsmeade's mediwizard (someone has to be from Hogsmeade), quidditch referee, events planner, invisibility cloak manufacturer, black marketer - speak to me Borgin and Burkes, ok, wizard bar owner, the owner and operators of TerrorTours, I don't think anyone has a cursebreaker for their parents, england's number 1 gobstones player, THE LIST IS ENDLESS.
